Join us for a 2.5-day avalanche course at Nes Gard. During the weekend, there will be plenty of time for learning and practice in important areas of the avalanche profession. The course is suitable both for those who are fairly new to hiking and for those who have some hiking experience and want to learn more about traveling safely by making good assessments of weather and conditions. Important topics we will cover are: Trip planning, safe route choices, assessing snow cover, recognizing avalanche terrain and camera rescue.

Price: NOK 7,800 per person (in a double room). This includes the avalanche course, 3 days with all meals at Nes Gard from Thursday to Sunday, i.e. breakfast, snack/cafe for the trip and 3-course dinners in the evening. It also includes sauna on the pier after the trip.
