The surroundings and atmosphere at Nes Gard create a unique setting for an intimate and pleasant wedding.
Now you can arrange your dream wedding in one of the coolest function rooms in the Sognefjord! In the old cowshed, we can cater for up to 90 guests. Even the toilet in the old silo invites you to party!
We tailor the wedding weekend according to your wishes.
For example, a wedding weekend at Nes might go something like this:
Friday: Informal gathering of friends with refreshments in Naustet. Here you can enjoy music, sauna and other entertainment.
Saturday: Serving in the garden before the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, guests gather for an aperitif and canapés. A tasty wedding dinner with local ingredients and a party in the barn.
Sunday: Hearty breakfast/brunch before departure.

Nes Kirke is practically in the garden of Nes Gard. We're talking short-haul weddings here!
Accommodation
Our bedrooms are all different and with special interiors, most with a view of the fjord. Fjordspeilet is the perfect bridal suite with a panoramic view of the entire fjord.
Activities
During a wedding weekend at Nes Gard, you can go on trips to both the fjord and the mountains. Or you can just enjoy yourself with a cold lager in the sauna on the pier. We organize activities and content throughout the weekend.
