Throughout the weekend we will dive into the world of chess from many angles. There will be informal tournaments, training, lectures, pub chess and more! There will also be time to enjoy the magical nature of the fjords and of course pleasant company with or without a chessboard.

Come alone, with your partner, or bring a group of friends – either way, we're sure this will be a weekend you'll remember!

Torstein Bae is an international champion and has been NRK's ​​chess expert since 2013. He is known for his warm and enthusiastic presentation of chess. You will definitely notice that during this weekend!

The chess weekend is suitable for anyone who can play chess, regardless of whether you are a hobbyist or have played quite a lot.
